This Blauberg metal ducting reducer steps a 315mm (12") fan or filter outlet down to 200mm (8") ducting in one fitting, the connection needed when a larger extraction unit has to run on a smaller duct size. It is pressed from galvanised sheet steel by the Blauberg Group, so it holds its shape under a fan's negative pressure and seats securely under a standard clamp.

Matching a Bigger Fan to Smaller Ducting
A 315mm fan or carbon filter forced straight onto 200mm ducting either will not fit or leaves a loose, leaking joint that bleeds static pressure and lets odour escape. A properly formed reducer gives both ends a solid, sealed seat, so the airflow the fan is rated for is the airflow that actually reaches the room.
How to Use
- Fit the 315mm end onto the fan or filter outlet
- Fit the 200mm end onto the ducting
- Secure both joins with a fast clamp or jubilee clip and seal with duct tape for an airtight run
