Stop Dosing the Moment Something Goes Wrong

The Bluelab External Lockout and Alarm Box is an add-on for the Bluelab Pro Controller that lets outside switches take charge of your dosing. Wire in a float switch, an irrigation controller or any other external switch, and when it trips the Pro Controller drops into lockout mode and stops all dosing until you reset it. Add a horn or flashing light and the same box gives your automated reservoir an audible or visual alarm, so a fault gets noticed rather than discovered.

Why Automated Dosing Needs a Safety Net

A doser only knows what its probes tell it. If a reservoir runs low, a probe fouls or a pump sticks, it can keep pushing pH adjuster or nutrient concentrate into the tank, and an overdosed reservoir means burnt roots, poor nutrient uptake and stalled growth across every plant it feeds. The lockout box puts a physical check between the controller and the tank, so dosing stops when conditions are wrong rather than after the damage is done.

How to Use

• Connect the box to your Bluelab Pro Controller
• Wire in your float switch, irrigation controller signal or other lockout switch (normally open or normally closed)
• Add an alarm such as a horn or flashing light to the alarm output if you want an alert
• Test by tripping the switch and confirming the Pro Controller shows lockout, then reset from the controller
