The Bluelab ORP Probe is a direct replacement sensor for the Bluelab ORP Meter, built around a platinum spiral electrode and a ceramic double-junction diaphragm for stable, drift-resistant oxidation-reduction readings. It connects through a standard BNC connector on a 2 metre cable, so it works with any meter or controller that takes a BNC ORP input, not only the meter it was built for.

A Meter Stuck Idle Over One Failed Probe

An ORP probe is the part that wears - the electrode fouls, the reference junction ages, and eventually the reading stops moving the way it should, even though the rest of the meter is fine. Replacing the sensor rather than the whole unit is the sensible fix, and because this one uses a standard BNC fitting, it works as a spare for the Bluelab ORP Meter or as a first ORP sensor for any controller that accepts one.

How to Use

• Remove the KCl storage cap and connect the BNC plug to your meter or controller
• Keep the electrode wet at all times - never let it dry out between uses
• Calibrate against a known ORP reference solution before taking a critical reading
• Store submerged in KCl storage solution in the cap provided when not in use
• Suitable for solutions of 0.2 EC and above, between -5°C and 80°C
