The Bluelab Temperature Probe is the replacement solution-temperature sensor for Bluelab pH Controllers and Bluelab Pro Controllers. It sits in the reservoir alongside the pH and conductivity probes and feeds the controller a live water temperature, which the controller uses both to display and alarm on temperature and to compensate its readings. A stainless steel body, a 2 metre cable and a plug-in 3.5mm jack make fitting a two-minute job, and it never needs calibrating.

Water temperature affects dissolved oxygen, root health and the accuracy of every conductivity reading. When a controller's temperature probe fails or gets damaged, you lose that reading and your alarms, and warm-reservoir problems such as root rot and low oxygen can creep in unnoticed. A spare probe gets the controller back to full monitoring straight away.
How to Use
- Plug the 3.5mm jack into the temperature socket on your Bluelab pH Controller or Pro Controller.
- Place the stainless tip in the reservoir where solution moves freely, away from heaters and chillers.
- Route the cable clear of pumps and lids so it is not pinched.
- Wipe the probe clean when you service the other probes; no calibration is needed.
