The BOYU 100W Nutrient Heater (model HT-8100) is a fully submersible, thermostatically controlled glass heater for warming nutrient solution in hydroponic reservoirs and small tanks. Set the dial and it cycles itself on and off to hold the temperature, so an unheated space overnight does not chill the root zone. It comes on a 1m cable and is a compact, low-cost way to take the chill off a small DWC tote or propagation reservoir.

How to Use
- Submerge the heater in the reservoir before plugging in, keeping it clear of pots, roots and the tank floor
- Set the thermostat to your target - most growers aim for around 18-22°C
- Size it - a common rule is roughly 1W per litre; use a larger heater for big tanks or cold rooms
- Unplug and let it cool for a few minutes before lifting it out of the water
- Check the temperature with a separate thermometer after the first day
