Description
Stronger cell walls and sturdier stems with nano silicon
Buddhas Tree Solar Green Power is a colloidal silicon fertiliser produced with nano-technology, delivering silicic acid - the only form of silicon a plant can actually absorb. It is an aqueous dispersion of 10% amorphous silica (SiO2) with a particle size in the nano range, typically 15 nanometres. Because it is only weakly alkaline, it mixes far more easily and safely than strongly alkaline potassium silicate.
Key Benefits
- Bio-available silicic acid, the only silicon form plants can take up
- 15nm nano particles that penetrate the leaf and form a protective silicate layer on the surface
- Thicker, stronger cell walls for sturdier stems that hold heavy flowers and fruit
- Weakly alkaline, so it blends readily with other additives - unlike potassium silicate at pH 12
- Pure inorganic formulation with no organic solvents present
Weak stems buckling under a heavy crop?
Plants short on available silicon build thin cell walls, leaving soft stems and foliage that struggle with the weight of a heavy harvest and everyday heat and pest stress. Solar Green Power supplies silicon in the absorbable silicic acid form, reinforcing structure throughout the plant rather than leaving it locked up and unusable.
How to Use
- Mixing order: add to your reservoir first, before base nutrients and other additives, and stir in
- Rate: a little goes a long way - dose sparingly at a low rate as directed on the label, throughout veg and bloom
- pH: check and adjust pH after adding, then continue building your solution
- Foliar: can also be applied as a foliar spray for a fast-acting silicate leaf layer
