A deep-bed RC412 carbon filter for 10 inch extraction

The Cali Pro Carbon Filter scrubs odour from grow room and grow tent exhaust with a thick bed of Australian RC412 activated carbon. This 250mm (10") x 1000mm model is rated at 1,900 m³/h, making it a match for a 10 inch inline fan on a larger tent or a full grow room. A coned base spreads airflow evenly through the carbon, a foam compression ring stops air pockets forming in the bed, and the fixtures are lightweight aluminium. Each filter comes with a protective pre-filter sleeve.

Stopping Smells Leaving the Grow Room

Flowering plants, compost teas and organic feeds all produce strong smells, and an extractor fan on its own just pushes them outside. A carbon filter on the intake side of the fan traps the odour molecules before the air leaves, so what goes out of the duct is clean. Sizing matters: a filter rated below the fan chokes airflow and lets heat and humidity build up, while one matched to the fan keeps the whole ventilation system working.

How to Use

• Pair it with a 10 inch (250mm) fan rated at or slightly below 1,900 m³/h.
• Mount the filter at the top of the tent or room, where warm air collects, and connect it to the fan intake with 250mm ducting.
• Fit the pre-filter sleeve and wash or replace it when it looks dusty.
• Replace the filter when odour starts to get through at normal fan speed.
