Description
The Original Can-Filters carbon bed in a small, budget-friendly plastic housing
The Can Original 1500 brings the same pelletized-carbon packed-bed design used across the wider Original range into a small, lightweight plastic-housed filter, sized for the smallest tents and cupboard grows. It's built with the same principles as the larger Original filters — a proven packed bed and pelletized virgin activated carbon — for consistent, low-pressure-drop odour control at entry-level airflow.
Key Benefits
- Pelletized virgin activated carbon in the same packed-bed design as the rest of the Original range.
- Lightweight plastic housing keeps the unit compact and easy to mount in small spaces.
- Low pressure drop, so a small fan doesn't lose much airflow to the filter.
- Time-tested design, scaled down from the same filter line that anchors the wider Can-Filters range.
- Sized for small setups — a 100mm/125mm flange rated at 75 m³/h.
Small grow tents and cupboard setups still need proper odour control, but a full-size carbon filter is often too big and too much airflow resistance for a small fan to push through. The Original 1500's compact plastic body is built specifically for that smaller scale.
How to Use
Mount at the extraction point with the airflow arrow pointing towards the fan, matching the filter's 75 m³/h rating to a correctly-sized small fan. Being plastic-bodied it's lighter than the metal Original filters, so it can be supported with a lighter-duty hanger.
