The CarboAir 60 is built to the exacting standards of Systemair, makers of RVK and Revolution fans. The trick is the carbon itself: coarser, high quality granular carbon in a 60mm bed, thicker than competing filters, which buys the contact time needed to eradicate smells while still letting air move freely. Seven sizes run from 6" at 1350 m3/h up to a 12" long-body unit at 4250 m3/h, so there is a match for anything from a single tent to a full room.

Fine, densely packed carbon scrubs odour but drops fan output badly, and a room that cannot shift its air sees humidity creep up, airflow go stale and dense tops start turning. Under-filter and smell escapes the moment the crop ripens. The coarse carbon and thicker bed sit in the middle, holding air long enough to strip odour while the fan still moves the m3/h it was bought for.

How to Use

• Size the filter to your fan, matching flange diameter and choosing a body rated at or above your fan's m3/h
• Mount inside the tent or room, high up, with the fan drawing air through the filter
• Support the body on straps rather than hanging it off the ducting
• Replace the pre-filter when it greys over, protecting the carbon underneath
• Run the fan whenever lights are on so air is always being scrubbed
