CarboAir Pro 75 was developed for the big boys. It carries a 75mm carbon bed and a 1m body, which together give a far longer contact time between the air and the carbon than a standard filter manages. That extra dwell time is what removes the higher concentrations of VOCs thrown off by a dense, mature canopy. The bed is virgin activated granular carbon, specified to keep working under harsher conditions than a typical hobby filter ever sees.

When the Room Smells Louder Than the Filter Can Handle

Packed multi-light rooms put out more airborne organic compounds than a thin carbon bed can absorb, and it usually starts failing in the last fortnight of flower. Choking the fan to buy contact time only trades one problem for another: weak airflow means stagnant air, climbing humidity and mould in the densest tops. A deeper bed gives the air the dwell time it needs while the fan keeps moving proper volume.

How to Use

• Pick the flange to match your fan – 315mm or 355mm – and avoid reducing it down
• Hang it inside the room on straps rated for the weight, with the fan pulling air through the filter
• Leave clear space around the body so air enters across the full 1m length
• Replace the pre-filter sleeve regularly to stop dust blinding the carbon
• Keep it out of standing damp, as saturated carbon loses capacity
