Matching Filter to Fan

A carbon filter only controls odour effectively when air is pulled through it at the right speed — too fast and smells pass through unabsorbed, too slow and airflow through the tent suffers. Pairing this filter with an extraction fan rated close to its 1300m³/h capacity, and accounting for ducting length and bends, keeps both odour control and room climate where they need to be.

How to Use

• Mount with the carbon inlet drawing air from the tent or room, and the outlet flange connected to ducting leading to the extraction fan.
• Fit the pre-filter sock before first use and check it periodically, cleaning or replacing it as it collects dust.
• Support the filter's weight independently of the ducting — hanging it from straps or a fixing point avoids strain on the duct joints.
