Description
Carbon straight to the leaf for faster photosynthesis
CO2 Fusion Foliar Spray is a ready-to-use leaf spray that delivers dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) – a stabilised, CO2-infused mist – directly to the foliage, together with natural plant extracts and amino acids. Plants grown in soil draw part of their carbon from carbon dissolved in the soil water, a source that hydroponic and soilless crops largely go without. Spraying CO2 Fusion puts that carbon at the site of action in the leaf, so plants no longer rely only on passive diffusion of CO2 from the air.
Key Benefits
- Dissolved inorganic carbon delivered straight to the leaf to drive photosynthesis
- Organic carbon sources – saccharides (mannose, glucose, rhamnose), carbohydrates and amino acids
- Keeps stomata working: the DIC sets an ideal spray pH so leaf pores stay open for water and CO2 exchange
- Faster rooting when used on cuttings
- Ready to use – no mixing, no measuring
Slow early growth in hydro and soilless set-ups
In a sealed or heavily lit grow room, carbon supply is often what holds back vegetative growth: leaves can only take in CO2 as fast as it diffuses through the stomata, and soilless media offer no dissolved carbon to make up the gap. CO2 Fusion tackles this at the leaf, adding carbon in a readily absorbed form and helping keep the plant's transpiration and gas exchange running at full rate. The plant extracts also leave a fine protective film on the foliage. It is most useful from cuttings and seedlings through the early vegetative stage, when canopy growth sets up the rest of the crop.
How to Use
- Shake well and spray directly onto the foliage – it is supplied ready to use.
- Cover the leaves evenly, upper and lower surfaces, as a fine mist rather than to the point of heavy run-off.
- Cuttings and seedlings: mist them in the propagator to speed up rooting.
- Vegetative stage: use through early veg, where it gives the most benefit.
- Timing: as with any foliar spray, apply when lights are off or low, or raise the lights, so droplets do not sit on leaves under strong light.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to dilute it?
No. CO2 Fusion Foliar Spray comes ready to use in its own trigger-spray bottle – shake it and spray straight onto the leaves.
Does it replace CO2 enrichment in the grow room?
It works differently. Room enrichment raises the CO2 in the air, which plants take in by passive diffusion; CO2 Fusion puts dissolved inorganic carbon directly onto the leaf surface along with plant extracts and amino acids.
Can I use it on cuttings?
Yes. Misting cuttings with CO2 Fusion is one of its main uses and is reported to speed up rooting noticeably.
