Description

Precise fan speed control without the hum, buzz or guesswork

This is a 5 amp single-fan controller that adjusts extraction speed in response to grow room temperature, suiting most standard EC and AC fans. It offers 50 speed settings and responds in 1°C steps, so the fan eases up and down rather than jumping between flat out and idle. Onboard Fansynch software continually corrects drift to hold your target temperature. Run it as a manual minimum-speed controller on its own, or add the optional 3m temperature probe (sold separately here) for fully automatic operation. Everything is plug and play - no wiring, no installation.

Key Benefits

  • 50 speed settings - fine adjustment in 1°C increments keeps the room far closer to target than a coarse dial.
  • Quiet transitions - speed changes are smooth, so you avoid the sudden roar that makes a fan noticeable.
  • Fansynch correction - the controller keeps nudging fan output to counter temperature drift through the day.
  • Two modes - manual minimum-speed control without the probe, or full automatic temperature control with it.
  • 5 amp rating - enough headroom for the majority of grow room extractor fans.
  • Plug and play - fan into the controller, controller into the socket, set your speed and walk away.

Why Running Fans Flat Out Wastes Money and Quiet

A fan left at full speed all day strips heat you have paid to produce, drags humidity out of the room and makes far more noise than the job needs. Wind it down by hand and the room overheats the moment lights and ambient temperature climb. A temperature-driven controller settles that argument, holding the fan at the lowest speed that still keeps the room on target and lifting it only when readings say so.

How to Use

  • Plug the fan into the controller and the controller into a mains socket.
  • For manual use, set your minimum fan speed and leave it running.
  • For automatic use, connect the temperature probe and set your target room temperature.
  • Position the probe in the middle of the room, shaded and out of direct light.
  • Check readings after a full light cycle and fine-tune the set point.
