Description

Arctic seaweed flowering stimulant with calcium and magnesium

Crazy Hills Spark is an organic flowering stimulant built on cold-pressed Arctic seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum), fortified with potassium, calcium, magnesium and sulphur and carrying more than 60 trace elements. The seaweed also brings its naturally occurring plant growth regulators – auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins – and complex carbohydrates that fuel the plant's metabolism. Started gently in veg and stepped up through bloom, it builds sturdy stems, helps flowers set and fill out, and improves tolerance to heat, cold and stress, in soil, coco or hydro and as a foliar spray.

Key Benefits

  • Sturdier stems and structure – calcium, magnesium and seaweed extract to carry heavier flowers and fruit
  • Earlier, fuller flower set – driven by the seaweed's natural auxins and cytokinins
  • More energy for photosynthesis from seaweed compounds and complex carbohydrates
  • Better stress tolerance in heat, cold and other difficult conditions
  • 60+ micronutrients for balanced nutrition, NPK 0.2-0.01-2
  • Fast foliar fix for calcium and magnesium shortfalls at 1 ml per litre

Calcium and magnesium shortfalls under strong LED lighting

Plants under modern LED lighting take up more calcium and magnesium, and more intense light raises their appetite for every nutrient. When supply falls behind, growth softens, leaves show deficiency and flowering slows. Spark supplies calcium and magnesium in an organic, seaweed-based form alongside potassium for flowering, and as a foliar spray it corrects a shortfall and relieves plant stress quickly. Crazy Hills' advice is simple: under intense light, raise the Spark rate if plants ask for it.

How to Use

  • Vegetative stage: start at 0.5 ml per litre in week 1, 1 ml in weeks 2–3 and 1.5 ml in week 4.
  • Flowering stage: 2–2.5 ml per litre in weeks 1–2, 3 ml in weeks 3–4, 4 ml in weeks 5–6, 5 ml in week 7 and 3 ml in week 8.
  • Foliar: 1 ml per litre to correct calcium/magnesium deficiency or relieve stress quickly – spray with the lights off or low.
  • Mixing: add with your base nutrient, stir, then check EC and adjust pH to 5.8–6.2 in veg and 6.0–6.5 in bloom.

Note — Crazy Hills' own feeding chart (EU). Target pH 5.8–6.2 in veg and 6.0–6.5 in bloom; heavy-feeding crops can take 10–20% more. Under strong LED lighting raise Spark if plants show calcium or magnesium need. Set EC first, then adjust pH, once every base nutrient and additive is in the tank.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Spark a base nutrient?

No. With an NPK of 0.2-0.01-2 it is a stimulant that runs alongside a base feed – Crazy Hills pair it with Upthrive in veg and Prosper in bloom.

Can I use it as a foliar spray?

Yes – 1 ml per litre, to correct calcium or magnesium deficiency or relieve stress quickly. Spray with the lights off or low.

Where do its growth regulators come from?

From the Arctic seaweed itself: Ascophyllum nodosum naturally contains auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins, which Crazy Hills list among Spark's ingredients.
