The Dimlux CO2 Pressure Reducing Valve Pro is an industrial-grade CO2 regulator for bottled gas, fitted with a built-in magnetic (solenoid) valve so a controller can switch the supply on and off. Two large, easy-to-read gauges show cylinder pressure and flow, and a fine adjustment from 1 to 30 L/min lets you match the flow to the size of the room instead of accepting a fixed rate.

Why Fixed-Rate Regulators Waste Gas

Many budget regulators are fixed at around 15 L/min. In a small room that overshoots the target every time the solenoid opens, producing CO2 peaks, wasted gas and an uneven environment; in a large room the same valve can struggle to lift levels at all. Being able to dial the flow down or up means the controller can hold a steady level through the lights-on period, so plants get consistent enrichment for photosynthesis and growth rather than bursts.

How to Use

• Fit the regulator to the CO2 cylinder and tighten securely; check the joint for leaks
• Run 10–12mm hose from the outlet to your distribution line above the canopy
• Wire the magnetic valve to your CO2 controller (for example a Dimlux Maxi Controller with CO2 sensor)
• Open the cylinder, then set the flow rate on the fine adjuster to suit the room volume
• Only enrich while the lights are on and the extraction is off or slowed
