Dimlux Expert Series MKII 600W/750W – 400V HPS Grow Light

A 600W HPS Fixture Built to Run Harder at 750W

The Dimlux Expert Series MKII 600W/750W is a complete 400V EL UHF HPS grow light: a redesigned closed-body ballast, the Ultra Optics Hybrid 98 reflector and the new Dimlux Xtreme Output (DXO) 600/750W 400V EL bulb, supplied as one fixture. Its boost setting runs the lamp at 750W for around 1,506 µmol/s, and the DXO bulb is made to hold 95% of its PAR after 10,000 hours, where ordinary 600W lamps degrade quickly when pushed past 720W.

Key Benefits

• Boost to 750W – about 1,506 µmol/s at 1.94 µmol/J, well beyond a standard 600W fixture
• DXO 400V EL lamp included – designed for both dimming and boosting without losing PAR
• MKII ballast – 97% efficient, around 30% smaller and lighter than the MKI, with a closed housing to protect the electronics
• Ultra Optics Hybrid 98 reflector – 98% efficiency, interchangeable with the Wide or Deep 98 versions
• 4-character status display – shows settings and error codes clearly; Maxi Controller compatible

When a 600W Lamp Isn't Enough

Pushing a normal 600W HPS lamp harder usually just burns through it: output falls away, coverage becomes patchy and the lamp needs replacing early. The MKII's boost is matched to a bulb built for it, so you get the extra light for a larger footprint and heavier flowering while keeping output consistent over a long lamp life. The HPS spectrum is mostly orange-red for flowering, with enough blue to handle vegetative growth.

How to Use

• Hang the fixture level above the canopy and adjust height as plants grow
• Select 600W or boost to 750W on the ballast, or control it from a Dimlux Maxi Controller
• Fit only a Dimlux DXO 600/750W 400V EL lamp or an equivalent 400V EL lamp as a replacement
