The DLI Joule Series 1000W is a complete double-ended HPS fixture with the ballast and lamp pre-fitted, ready to hang and run. Onboard electronics accept 120-240V mains and convert it to 400V for higher photon output, and the wide-angle reflector spreads light across a 120 x 180cm (1.2 x 1.8m) footprint from 90cm – a rectangular pattern that suits long rooms far better than the square footprint of most 1000W 400V alternatives. A built-in chimney effect pulls hot air away from the reflector, so the fixture sits closer to the canopy and stays clean.

Low Headroom and Hot Spots Under the Lamp

Square-footprint fixtures leave the ends of a long room dim, and that is where you get slow growth, excessive stretch and airy buds. Hang them close and the canopy scorches; hang them high and the intensity is gone. The wide-angle reflector and chimney design tackle both, shedding heat upwards so the lamp runs nearer the tops without cooking them.

How to Use

• Unpack carefully and check the pre-fitted lamp and ballast are seated
• Attach the wide-angle reflector and connect the 1000W 400V lamp
• Power up with the 5m IEC cable from a 120-240V supply
• Connect the RJ12 cables if you are running a controller
• Hang at 90cm above the canopy to hit the stated footprint
