DLI UV Series 150W Supplemental UV Grow Light

Recreate the UV-A and UV-B of Real Sunlight Indoors

The DLI UV Series 150W is a supplemental UV fixture built to run alongside your main HPS or LED lighting. It uses the DLI exclusive Solar Noon® lamp, and Dutch Lighting Innovations is the only manufacturer producing UV fixtures that recreate the UV-A and UV-B benefits of outdoor sunlight indoors. Output is 160 µmol/s at 1.1 µmol/J from 150W, and the wide 140° beam spreads UV over the same footprint as the fixture it supplements. It measures 43 x 29 x 18 cm and weighs 4.8kg.

Soft, Sheltered Plants That Pests Walk Straight Into

Indoor canopies grow without the UV plants receive outdoors all day, and it shows: thinner leaves, softer cell walls and little resistance when mites or mould arrive. Plants carry UV-A and UV-B photoreceptors used to read their environment, so removing UV removes a signal they are built to respond to. A controlled dose back produces healthier, more resilient plants.

How to Use

• Mount alongside your main fixture, HPS or LED, so UV falls across the whole canopy
• Run for at least 2 to 4 hours a day within the lighting cycle – a daily window, not the whole photoperiod
• Connect to a DLI controller to schedule that window with the rest of the installation
• Relamp with the Solar Noon® lamp to keep UV output where it should be
• Protect yourself: avoid direct exposure and keep the UV window outside your working hours
