The Nitrogen Backbone of the Dosaline Two-Part System

Dosaline Base is the primary component of the Dosaline two-part water-soluble fertiliser system, at an NPK of 12-0-1. It is a high-nitrogen fertiliser and it runs through the entire cycle: paired with Dosaline Grow in the vegetative stage and with Dosaline Bloom in flowering.

Keeping nitrogen in its own part is what makes the system controllable. Instead of buying a different complete feed for every stage, you change the ratio of Base to its partner and the plant sees exactly the shift it needs - full nitrogen through veg, tapering into a phosphorus and potassium dominant profile as flowers set.

It is a powder that dissolves fully in cold water, so stock solutions are quick to make and stay stable between mixes. That was a deliberate design choice for commercial cultivation, where the time spent making up and remaking tanks is a real cost.

Nitrogen Lockout and the Mid-Cycle Stall

Plants fed from a single all-in-one feed get whatever nitrogen the manufacturer decided a plant needs on that day of the schedule. When the room runs warmer, cooler or faster than the label assumed, the result is either lush, soft, over-fed growth going into flower or a hungry, pale stall right when bud sites should be setting. Holding nitrogen in a separate part means you can add or withdraw it on what the plant is actually doing, without disturbing the phosphorus and potassium underneath.

How to Use

• Run Base with Dosaline Grow through the vegetative stage and with Dosaline Bloom through flowering
• Mix into cold water and agitate until fully dissolved before it meets the second part in the reservoir
• Keep each part in its own stock tank - never combine the concentrates directly
• Move the Base-to-partner ratio to steer the plant through the cycle rather than swapping products
• Set pH after mixing and confirm EC against your target for the stage and substrate
• Pull nitrogen back as flowering matures, reducing Base relative to Bloom into the last weeks
