The Dosatron Lo-Flo Monitor Kit (HYKMON) is the monitoring section of Dosatron's water-powered Nutrient Delivery System: a pre-configured 3/4-inch manifold that fits after your injectors, with a pressure gauge, valves and a probe holder, so the fully blended outgoing solution can be measured continuously. The monitor itself is not included – the kit is built to take a Bluelab Guardian Monitor Inline, bought separately. Dosatron list it as one of the add-ons for the Hobby Cultivator, alongside the starter, mixing chamber and water hammer arrestor kits.

Dosing Errors You Only Find in the Plants
A water-powered injector doses accurately, but an empty stock tank, a worn seal or a sleeve knocked to the wrong setting changes the feed without warning – and the first sign is often poor nutrient uptake, deficiencies or nutrient lockout days later. Measuring EC and pH in the line, after the injectors, shows the drift as it happens and confirms every batch before it reaches the root zone.
How to Use
- Fit the kit after the last injector – and after a mixing chamber, if you use one – so it reads the fully blended solution
- Seal every male thread with PTFE tape and keep the water flowing in one direction through the line
- Fit the Bluelab Guardian Monitor Inline (sold separately) to the probe holder and mount the monitor
- Set each injector in turn: lift every suction hose out of its stock except one, run water and adjust that injector until the EC rise matches your feed chart, then move on to the next
- Run all parts together and confirm the final EC and pH before feeding

Yes. Dosatron list the Monitor Kit as an add-on for the Hobby Cultivator, and it uses the same 3/4-inch connections.

Do I need the other Nutrient Delivery System kits?
For a complete Lo-Flo Nutrient Delivery System, Dosatron pair it with injectors, a standard starter kit, a mixing chamber kit and a water hammer arrestor kit. On a Hobby Cultivator those are optional extras.
