Dynomyco Mycorrhizal is a premium mycorrhizal fungi inoculant that builds a beneficial symbiotic relationship between plant roots and the growing medium. It contains highly concentrated arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (Rhizophagus irregularis and Funneliformis mosseae) at 900 viable propagules per gram, naturally extending the root network so plants take up more water and nutrients such as phosphorus, zinc and iron. The two species were formerly known as Glomus intraradices and Glomus mosseae, and they come as a whole inoculum – spores, hyphae and colonised root fragments carried on granules – so the fungi arrive ready to colonise. Suitable for hydroponics, coco and soil, it is OMRI Listed and suitable for organic growing. It also suits rockwool and living beds; for hydroponics, the roots are inoculated in a substrate first.

Struggling with transplant shock and slow establishment?
Weak root systems, slow establishment and poor nutrient uptake hold plant performance back badly. Dynomyco colonises the roots soon after application, creating an extended underground network that reaches water and nutrients beyond the plant's natural root zone. Root colonisation is often visible within 14 days, with above-ground growth following about two to three weeks later. Plants establish faster after transplanting and cope better with drought and environmental stress. Because the fungi stay associated with the roots, repeat applications are generally unnecessary once colonisation succeeds.
How to Use
- Rate: 1 teaspoon (approx. 5g) per plant, in direct contact with the roots
- When: apply at sowing, transplanting or potting up, into the planting hole or around the root ball before covering
- Beds and living soil: 1 teaspoon (5g) per planting site
- Contact: ensure it touches the roots directly, as the fungi need root contact to establish
- Activate: water thoroughly after planting
- Hydro: inoculate in rockwool, coco or a similar substrate first, then move into the system; the granules are not made for irrigation lines
- Feed: continue your normal nutrient programme, Dynomyco is not a fertiliser but works alongside one to improve uptake
- Phosphorus: keep early phosphorus moderate while the roots colonise, as very high phosphorus can slow colonisation
- Store: keep cool and dry, reseal after use to maintain viability

Can I use Dynomyco in a hydroponic system?
It needs a growing medium to establish. Inoculate the roots in rockwool, coco or a similar substrate first, then move the plant into the hydro system. The granules are not designed for irrigation lines – Dynomyco Spark is the wettable-powder version for drip and feed lines.
Is Dynomyco a fertiliser?
No. It is a mycorrhizal inoculant that improves the plant's access to nutrients, so keep feeding as normal. Very high phosphorus can slow colonisation, so keep early phosphorus levels moderate while the roots establish.
How soon will I see results?
Root colonisation is often visible within 14 days, and above-ground growth usually follows about two to three weeks after that.
Does it work on every crop?
It suits most garden produce and ornamental plants, but its fungi will not colonise brassicas (the cabbage and mustard family) or the beet and spinach family.
Can I use it alongside pest and disease treatments?
Non-systemic fungicides, herbicides and insecticides are generally compatible. Avoid fungicides that target beneficial fungi.
