Losing CO2 Through Guesswork

Bottled CO2 enrichment normally means calculating flow rates, pressures and on/off timings by hand — get any of them wrong and gas is wasted or CO2 levels never reach a useful concentration. The Unis removes that calculation entirely: the regulator's flow rate is fixed at the factory to match each of the controller's 16 settings, so choosing the right number for your room size is the only decision left. It was the first dedicated CO2 controller sold on the UK market, and the same set-and-forget design still holds up against far pricier systems.

How to Use

Connect the regulator to the control panel with the supplied wire, then screw the regulator onto your CO2 bottle — fit the washer first and tighten with a spanner for an airtight seal. Select the setting that matches your growing area's volume in cubic metres, and wire the Unis through a timer so CO2 dosing switches off with your lights, matching the plant's natural CO2 uptake cycle. Running an extraction fan? Choose a slightly higher setting to allow for CO2 pulled out through the ducting, and run CO2 tubing out to the canopy in medium and large rooms to cut down on wastage.
