Ecothrive Biosys is an instant microbial tea in powder form — beneficial bacteria, endo mycorrhizal fungi and trichoderma in one soluble blend. Conventional compost teas need an air pump, a brewing vessel and 24 hours of preparation, and go off quickly. Biosys is mixed with water and applied straight away, which makes a living root zone practical in any system, including hydroponics.

Weak Roots and Poor Nutrient Uptake in a Sterile Root Zone

A root zone with no microbial life leaves the plant doing all the work of finding water and nutrients alone. That shows up as weak roots, poor nutrient uptake and slow growth, and leaves nothing competing against root pathogens. Mycorrhizal fungi effectively extend the root system many times over, while beneficial bacteria occupy the space a pathogen would otherwise colonise.

How to Use

• Standard application: 0.5 g per litre of water, applied as a root drench
• At transplant: apply directly to the root ball so fungi contact roots immediately — this is when colonisation is most effective
• Frequency: every 7–14 days through veg and early flower
• Use non-chlorinated water — chlorine kills the microbes before they establish
• Do not mix with hydrogen peroxide, chlorine or other sterilising agents
• Apply to a moist root zone, never bone dry
