Reused soil that only ever gets watered and fed the same schedule gradually loses structure and biological life, and the next crop shows it as slower establishment and patchier growth. How to Use
- Between crops: top-dress onto the surface once the previous crop is cleared and roots removed.
- Scratch in: work into the top 2–4cm of soil, then water well.
- Rest: leave the bed or pot to settle for one to two weeks before replanting.
- Then feed: move on to Soil Food Grow once the new crop is established.
