Nutrient Lockout and Poor Uptake

Different nutrients are absorbed at different rates depending on how acidic or alkaline the solution is. Let the reservoir drift and you get poor nutrient uptake, slow growth and deficiency symptoms that look like a feeding fault but are really a pH fault. Testing before each feed and correcting with pH Up or Down keeps the solution where roots can actually use it.

How to Use

• Calibrate: use fresh calibration solution before first use and at regular intervals.
• Mix first, test second: stir in all nutrients and additives, then read the finished solution.
• Adjust: correct with pH Up or Down a little at a time, stirring between additions.
• Recheck: retest daily as pH moves while plants feed.
• Store clean: rinse the probe and let it dry before capping.
