Clear Salt Build-Up From the Root Zone
Essentials PLUS Flush is a flushing agent made from 100% natural minerals and plant extracts. It loosens and rinses accumulated salts and unused nutrients out of the growing medium and root zone, and it is the quick fix after accidental over-fertilisation. It works in every system and substrate – coco, soil, rockwool and hydro – and is used on its own, without other nutrients or additives, at 5ml per litre.

Nutrient Lockout and Salt Build-Up
Weeks of feeding leave mineral salts behind in coco, soil and rockwool. As they build up, EC in the root zone climbs, roots struggle to take up water and nutrients, and leaves show burnt tips and deficiency symptoms even though the feed is strong enough. Running Flush through the medium dissolves that residue so the root zone returns to a clean, even starting point.
How to Use
- Salt build-up or over-fertilisation: 5ml per litre of water for 1–2 days, then return to your normal feed.
- pH: adjust the solution to 5.5.
- Water through until run-off appears, and check run-off EC to see the salts coming out.
