Description
Calcium Straight to the Leaf for Stronger, Greener Growth
Essentials PLUS Green Up is a calcium-rich foliar feed that also carries nitrogen and fulvic acids. Calcium moves slowly inside a plant, so new growth can run short even when there is plenty in the root zone. Spraying it onto the leaves puts it where it is needed, and the fulvic acid helps it into the leaf quickly. It works alongside any base nutrient, in soil, coco or hydro.
Key Benefits
- Calcium delivered to the leaf – gets round calcium's poor mobility inside the plant
- Stronger cell walls – firmer growth that stands up better to pests, disease and drought
- Nitrogen for chlorophyll – supports deep green leaves and steady photosynthesis
- Fulvic acids – help the leaf take up what you spray
- Works with any system – use it alongside your regular feed in any growing medium
Pale New Growth and Weak Stems?
A calcium shortage usually shows at the growing tips first: pale or distorted new leaves, weak stems and slow growth. It is most common during fast vegetative growth, or when high humidity in the grow room slows transpiration, because calcium only travels upward with the flow of water through the plant. Feeding at the root alone can take a while to correct it. A weekly foliar spray of Green Up tops up calcium and nitrogen directly at the leaf and keeps plant health on track through the growth stage.
How to Use
- Foliar spray: 50ml per litre of water, once a week
- Timing: spray in low light or just before the grow lights go out
- Coverage: mist the leaves evenly until wet but not dripping
- Alongside your feed: keep giving your main nutrients as normal – Green Up is a supplement, not a replacement
