Point-and-Shoot Surface Temperature Readings
The ETI Mini RayTemp Infrared Thermometer gives an instant, non-contact surface temperature reading from leaf canopy, growing media, ducting or light fixtures — point the built-in laser at the target and pull the trigger. It reads from -50°C to +330°C with ±2°C accuracy, covering everything from a chilled reservoir to the outer glass of an HID bulb.

How to Use
Point the laser at the surface to be measured — top canopy leaves, media surface, ducting or bulb glass — from a distance appropriate to the 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio, and pull the trigger for an instant reading. Check canopy temperature at multiple points across a grow room, particularly directly under HID lighting, and compare against ambient air temperature to spot hot spots early.
