The Faven CX2 is a standalone lighting controller built exclusively for the Chroma fixture range. It's aimed at smaller cultivators and first-time Chroma users who want reliable, straightforward control without setting up a third-party lighting platform. The CX2 is not compatible with Faven's R6 or R8 bars — it's designed for Chroma only.

With two independent channels, the CX2 gives direct control over the main 120W spectrum array and the separate 15W far-red channel, so growers can dial in spectrum adjustment, dimming and far-red scheduling without them being locked together. It supports both manual, hands-on operation and time-based scheduling, letting cultivators set a lighting strategy and leave it running.

The CX2 is deliberately kept simple — it's fully hand-operated with no app or remote access to configure. Each controller line supports up to 100 fixtures, and in some configurations up to 150, making it a practical option for scaling a Chroma installation across a larger grow space without additional hardware.
