Faven R8 Under Canopy LED Light

Fixed-spectrum under-canopy light built for LED and mixed-light rooms

Faven R8 is a fixed-spectrum under-canopy LED bar designed to sit beneath the main canopy and light the lower bud sites that overhead fixtures miss. Unlike the adjustable Chroma, R8 runs a set spectrum with a deeper red percentage, tuned specifically for LED top-light rooms, mixed-light rooms and greenhouses — Faven's sister model, the R6, carries a different balanced spectrum aimed at HPS rooms instead.

The bar outputs 120W from a compact 1157 x 75 x 85mm housing, delivering 340 umol/s of PPF at 2.9 umol/J efficiency, and draws a modest 0.43-1.0A input current. Like the rest of the range, it uses Faven's sealed IP66 housing and is rated to handle ambient temperatures up to 35C/95F, with fixtures daisy-chaining up to 20 per run.

R8 is powered and controlled via the dedicated R Series power cable, and pairs with the Mini Controller for 0-10V dimming, or with compatible third-party 0-10V systems such as Growflux or Trolmaster Hydro-X. It is not compatible with the Chroma-only CX2 controller. Every R8 fixture carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty as standard.
