Full-spectrum deficiency cover, not just calcium and magnesium
CMX is a cal-mag additive that goes further than the category norm. Alongside calcium and magnesium it carries a complete chelated trace-element package - iron, copper, manganese, zinc, molybdenum and boron - because in practice most of the deficiency symptoms growers blame on "cal-mag" are actually trace-element shortfalls that a straight Ca/Mg bottle won't touch. Guaranteed analysis is NPK 4-0-0, 6% calcium, 2% magnesium and 0.2% iron (as EDDHA, so it stays available across a wider pH range), with the remaining trace elements chelated as EDTA.
Use it through both vegetative growth and flowering in any heavy-feeding hydro, coco or soil system, particularly where the source water is soft, reverse-osmosis-treated, or otherwise stripped of the minerals plants would normally pick up incidentally. It's dosed alongside the base feed rather than replacing any part of it.
Reach for CMX at the first sign of blossom-end rot, upward-curling leaf tips, poor flower or fruit set, interveinal chlorosis (yellowing between the veins while veins stay green), or growth that has stalled without an obvious cause - all classic signs of a calcium, magnesium or trace-element shortfall rather than a straightforward nitrogen problem.
