Description
Flexible feed pipe from the main line to every plant
Flexi Pipe is a black flexible irrigation pipe for building and extending drip and micro-irrigation systems in grow rooms, tents and greenhouses. It is softer and easier to route than rigid LDPE, so it bends round pots, reservoirs and tent poles without constant elbows, and the black wall keeps light out of the nutrient solution, which stops algae growing inside the line. Choose 19mm (10m coil, 19mm internal bore) for main feed lines and multi-dripper runs, 13mm (50m coil) for branch lines, or 4mm micro tube (100m coil) that pushes onto 4mm barbed fittings to run the last stretch from a 13mm or 19mm main to each dripper, stake or micro spray.
Key Benefits
- Three sizes, one system – 19mm and 13mm feed pipe plus 4mm micro tube to reach each plant.
- Flexible – routes round corners without extra elbows or heating.
- Black, light-blocking wall discourages algae in the line.
- Fits standard barbed fittings of the matching size, plus ratchet clamps, saddle clamps and nut and tail tap connectors.
- Long coils – one continuous length to cut from, with spare for repairs.
- Cuts cleanly with a sharp knife or pipe cutter.
Mixing pipe from different sources is a common cause of blown joints: a fitting that grips one pipe can be slack on another. Stiff pipe fights every bend and levers fittings loose, while soft pipe that collapses starves the drippers at the end of the run. A proper flexible irrigation pipe at the right size keeps every barbed joint consistent and flow even from pump to plant, which is what keeps root development and nutrient uptake consistent across the room.
How to Use
- Uncoil and let the pipe relax in a warm room before cutting.
- Cut square with sharp pipe cutters or a knife to leave a clean end.
- Push barbed fittings fully home; dip the pipe end in hot water first if it is stiff.
- Clamp joints on the pump side and fix long runs with saddle clamps.
- Flush the line with clean water before connecting drippers.
