Budget-friendly odour control built on RC412 carbon

The Fox Carbon Filter removes smells from the air leaving your grow tent or grow room before it reaches the rest of the house. Each one is packed with Australian-mined RC412 activated carbon, machine-filled so the bed stays tight and settles less, and has a coned internal base to spread airflow evenly through the carbon. A pre-filter sleeve comes fitted to catch dust before it clogs the carbon.

Stop Grow Room Odour Escaping

Plants in flower, compost teas and damp media all put out strong smells, and an extractor fan simply blows them outdoors or into the next room. Fitting a carbon filter on the intake side of the fan pulls that air through a thick bed of activated carbon, which traps odour molecules and VOCs on its surface. Keep humidity under control as well: very wet air fills the carbon faster and shortens its life.

How to Use

• Match the filter's flange to your fan and ducting size, and choose a filter rated at or above your fan's airflow.
• Hang it at the top of the tent and duct it to the intake side of the extractor fan.
• Seal the join with a duct clip or tape so all the air passes through the carbon.
• Take the sleeve off and shake or vacuum it when it looks grey; replace the filter when odour starts to get through.
