The Fox 8 Inch Inline Extractor Fan is a centrifugal duct fan for pulling hot, stale air out of a grow tent or grow room and through a carbon filter. It moves up to 1050 m³/h at 570 Pa of pressure, enough to push through long duct runs and a filter without losing much flow, and the aluminium housing is sturdier than the plastic cases on many budget fans. It arrives wired with a 2m lead and 3-pin UK plug plus a mounting bracket.

Heat, Humidity and Stale Air
Grow lights heat a closed space quickly, and plants release water vapour all day. Without steady extraction, temperature and humidity climb, CO2 around the leaves runs down and mould becomes a real risk. An inline fan sized for the room changes the air every minute or two, drawing fresh air in through passive vents and keeping conditions stable for healthy growth.
How to Use
- Mount the fan with the bracket, usually high in the tent or room where warm air collects.
- Connect a carbon filter to the intake side and duct the outlet outside or into a loft space.
- Secure ducting with clips; fast clamps help reduce vibration noise.
- Use a suitable AC fan speed controller if you want to run it below full speed.
