Bush Doctor SledgeHammer is a nutrient rinse formula designed to encourage water movement through soil and soilless media. Heavy fertiliser use compromises plant growth over time as mineral salts concentrate in the root zone, eventually restricting how well roots can take up water and nutrients even when feed levels are correct.
SledgeHammer is derived from saponins extracted from the Yucca schidigera plant, which is what makes it OMRI Listed and a registered CDFA organic input material — it can be used in organic growing as well as conventional hydroponic and soil setups. It is worked into a weekly feeding schedule at a low rate in hydro systems, run through the system with every reservoir change, and used for a dedicated flush every two weeks to relieve nutrient lockout before it becomes a visible problem.
