Fox Farm Open Sesame

Fox Farm Open Sesame is a high-phosphorus soluble bloom fertiliser with an NPK of 5-45-19, formulated for the early weeks of flowering when a plant is establishing the bud sites that fill out later. It is a fast-dissolving powder, the first stage in Fox Farm's early-bloom lineup, used on its own or worked into an existing feed schedule.

Struggling to get strong bud development early in flower?

The switch into flower places heavy demand on phosphorus just as the plant is setting the bud sites that will later fill out, and a base feed alone does not always cover that spike. Open Sesame is timed for that early window to fuel vigorous flowering structure from the start.

How to Use

• When to start: begin around the 5th to 6th week of the plant's life, at the transition into bloom.
• Feed rate: 1/4 teaspoon per US gallon of water - about 0.33ml of powder per litre, using FoxFarm's own conversion of 1/4 tsp to 1.25ml.
• Frequency: FoxFarm print Open Sesame in three columns of the flowering schedule, fed up to twice a week.
• Use in sequence: Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching are FoxFarm's Soluble Trio - used one after another, not together.
• Root-zone only: designed for feeding, not foliar spraying; adjust to plant response.
