Description
Silenced EC extraction with full speed control
The Fox Pro EC Silent Fan is an acoustic inline fan for growers who need strong extraction without the noise. A reinforced steel housing lined with acoustic foam cuts running noise by up to half compared with a non-silenced fan, and the EC motor gives smooth speed control from 0 to 100% while using less power than an equivalent AC fan. It moves from 530 m³/h (6") up to 2987 m³/h (12"), and Greenbox supply it with a fan speed dimmer controller.
Key Benefits
- Acoustic foam-lined steel body, around half the noise of a non-silenced fan.
- 0-100% variable speed without the hum and heat of an AC dimmer.
- Soft start ramps the motor up gently, protecting it and your circuit.
- Energy-efficient EC motor that draws less power than AC fans.
- Built-in mounting eyelets and compatibility with EC controllers.
Quiet Airflow for Tents Near Living Space
A grow room fan runs for hours every day, so its noise matters as much as its airflow. Turn an ordinary fan down to hush it and temperature and humidity creep up; leave it flat out and it drones through the walls. An EC silenced fan lets you set exactly the airflow the room needs, day or night, and keeps it quiet at every speed.
How to Use
- Choose the size to match your ducting and carbon filter, checking the airflow against the room volume.
- Fix the fan using the mounting eyelets, with a carbon filter on the intake side.
- Connect the supplied speed controller, or an EC environment controller, and set the speed.
- Pair it with a filter rated at or above the fan's airflow.
