A deep 50mm carbon bed for big fans and large grow rooms
The Fox Pro Premium Carbon Filter is the heavy-duty filter in the Fox range, made for 10 and 12 inch extraction. A 50mm bed of virgin Australian RC412 activated carbon, chosen for its purity and high porosity, strips odour and VOCs from the air as it passes through. The carbon is machine-packed for maximum density, so it does not shift or open up channels over time, and the lightweight aluminium housing uses an open mesh to keep airflow free and load the carbon evenly.

Is Your Filter Big Enough for Your Fan?
A filter that is undersized for the fan behind it is the most common reason smell gets out of a grow room. Air rushes through too quickly to be cleaned, the fan labours against the resistance and the carbon saturates early. Pick a filter whose rated airflow meets or beats your fan's real output, especially once you add ducting and a speed controller, and keep humidity in check so the carbon lasts.
How to Use
- Choose the size by flange diameter and by the airflow rating against your fan.
- Hang or stand the filter in the grow room and connect it to the intake side of the extractor fan.
- Seal every joint with a duct clip or tape.
- Replace the filter when odour begins to pass through.
