The Garland Jumbo Professional is the largest and most capable propagator in Garland's range, pairing two XL High Dome propagators with a heated base run by a digital variable thermostat. Where the fixed-temperature models hold one set point, this unit lets you dial in and hold an exact compost temperature, backed by a probe sensor for genuinely tight control.

Holding an Exact Temperature, Not an Approximate One
A fixed-thermostat propagator is a reasonable compromise, but different seeds and cuttings root best at different compost temperatures, and a single hard-wired set point can't follow that. The Jumbo Professional's probe sensor reads the compost directly rather than the air, so the digital controller heats precisely when the medium needs it — useful across a full growing season as target temperatures change crop to crop.
How to Use
- Fill both XL dome trays with moist compost or rooting medium and sow or insert cuttings
- Push the probe sensor into the compost, fit the dome lids, and set the unit on a stable, level surface
- Set your target temperature on the digital display (5-30°C) — the base heats automatically to hold it, only drawing power when needed
- Avoid running the unit where the ambient room temperature falls below 5°C
- Vent the dome lids as seedlings establish to manage humidity
