The Garland Professional pairs a single XL High Dome propagator with a heated base run by a digital variable thermostat, giving the extra headroom of the XL dome without the footprint of the twin-dome Jumbo Professional. A probe sensor reads the compost directly so the base heats to an exact target rather than a fixed setting.

An Exact Compost Temperature, Not a Guess

Different seed varieties and cuttings root fastest at different compost temperatures, and a fixed-thermostat base can't follow that through a season. The Professional's probe sensor sits in the compost itself, so the digital controller responds to the medium's real temperature rather than the surrounding air, holding a consistent target through a full propagation run.

How to Use

• Fill the XL dome tray with moist compost or rooting medium and sow or insert cuttings
• Push the probe sensor into the compost, fit the dome lid, and place the unit on a stable, level surface
• Set your target temperature (5-30°C) on the digital display — the base heats automatically to hold it
• Avoid running the unit where ambient room temperature falls below 5°C
• Vent the dome lid as seedlings establish to manage humidity
