Description
Four-stage air sanitising for a cleaner grow room
The G.A.S AirTitan UV-C Sanitizer cleans grow room air around the clock. Air passing through its slim 85 cm housing meets four stages of treatment, so airborne bacteria, mould spores and fungi are neutralised as they pass through and clean air returns to the room. G.A.S rate it to kill 99% of bacteria and to treat a space of up to 36 m³, roughly 18 plants.
Key Benefits
- Four-stage sterilisation – titanium dioxide photocatalysis, ionisation, UV-C light and a carbon filter in one unit.
- Kills airborne pathogens – bacteria, mould spores and fungi – without harming plants.
- 24-hour operation on just 75 W.
- Treats up to 36 m³, suiting a large tent or small grow room.
- Mounts either way – hanging brackets for vertical or horizontal fitting.
- Fully serviceable – replaceable UV-C lamp and carbon fleece filters.
Mould and disease thrive in still, humid air
Warm, humid grow rooms are ideal for powdery mildew, grey mould (botrytis) and bacterial infections, whose spores ride on the air and settle on leaves and surfaces. Good airflow and humidity control reduce the risk; the AirTitan adds a constant line of defence by treating the air itself:
- Titanium reflector – titanium dioxide photocatalysis produces hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), a powerful anti-bacterial.
- Ionisation – a cloud of electrons attaches to charged particles such as mould spores so they clump and drop out of the air.
- UV-C light – high-energy ultraviolet damages the DNA and cell walls of living cells.
- Carbon filter – catches larger airborne particles and dust.
How to Use
- Hang it horizontally or vertically from the brackets, inside the tent or room where air circulates.
- Connect the UK IEC mains lead and run it continuously.
- Replace the carbon fleece filter about every 3 months and the UV-C lamp every 12 months.
- Keep your extraction and humidity control running – the AirTitan treats the air but does not replace ventilation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How big a space does it treat?
Up to 36 m³ of air. A 2.4 x 2.4 x 2 m tent holds about 11.5 m³ and a 3 x 3 x 2 m room 18 m³, so one unit covers either with room to spare.
Is it safe for plants?
Yes – G.A.S state it kills bacteria, mould spores and fungi without damaging plants. The UV-C lamp is enclosed inside the housing, so the light only reaches the air passing through.
Does it replace my carbon filter?
No. Its carbon fleece stage traps dust and larger particles; it is an air sanitiser, so keep your extraction fan and carbon filter for ventilation and odour control.
What maintenance does it need?
Change the carbon fleece filter about every three months and the Philips T5 16 W UV-C lamp every twelve months; both are sold as replacement parts by G.A.S.
