Green Man Flood & Drain Kit – Flood and Drain Pot System

Flood and drain pots that let you grow in coco or soil on a Green Man system

The Green Man Flood & Drain Kit pot packages add pots to a Green Man flood and drain system, or let you build one to fit your room. Each pot is set up for growing in a medium rather than water: a substrate tray sits in the base and a Green Man fabric pot holds your coco, soil or clay pebbles above it. On the Brain Controller's timer every pot is flooded from the reservoir, the medium soaks up solution by capillary action, and the pots are drained back to the tank to be mixed and sent out again. Roots stay insulated in the medium and are fed little and often, which avoids the dry-back swings and poor nutrient uptake of hand-watering, while the fabric pot lets excess water out and air into the root zone.
