VA and VB carry the vegetative macro elements, FA and FB carry the flowering macros, and MB (Microbase) supplies the trace elements straight through both stages. Because the macros sit in their own bottles, you can raise or lower them week by week the same way you would a PK, while the micro elements stay locked at a constant rate - the part of the feed that should never fluctuate.

Splitting each stage across an A and a B bottle is what keeps the concentrate stable: calcium and sulphate-based salts react and precipitate if they are stored together at full strength. Kept apart until they hit the tank, they stay available. Why Does a One-Bottle Feed Stall Halfway Through Bloom?

A single blended nutrient locks the ratio between macro and micro elements, so the only lever you have is overall strength. Push it up to meet flowering demand and you push the trace elements up with it, which is where nutrient lockout, leaf tip burn and poor nutrient uptake start. Hold it back and you get slow growth, pale foliage and low yields from plants that ran out of headroom weeks before harvest. Separating the macros from the micros removes that compromise: the elements the plant burns through in quantity move, the ones it needs in trace amounts do not.

How to Use

• Vegetative: start at 24ml of VA and 24ml of VB per 10 litres of water for hydroponics, or per 15 litres for soil and soil-less media
• Order matters: add everything except MB first, set the pH, then add 40ml of MB to the finished solution
• Vegetative pH: 6.1
• Flowering: switch to FA and FB at 2ml above the rate you finished veg on, still with 40ml of MB
• Flowering pH: 5.7
• Reading the plant: light green foliage means increase VA and VB by 2ml or more; dark green means hold or reduce
• Hydroponics: change the nutrient solution every 4 days
• Soil: water before the medium dries out
• Switching stages: run VA and VB with MB from seedling or cutting to the start of flowering or fruit set, then move to FA and FB with MB
