Description
Clean Water In, Healthier Growth Out
The GrowMax Eco Grow 240 is a compact two-stage water filter that strips chlorine, sediment and other tap-water contaminants before they reach your reservoir. Treating water at 240 litres per hour, it gives roots a cleaner feed to work with, protects beneficial microbes in living soil, and keeps nutrient pH more stable from one feed to the next. Chlorinated tap water can suppress the same microorganisms and nutrient interactions that healthy root development depends on, and mineral build-up from untreated water gradually clogs reflectors, carbon filters and lamp housings -- an Eco Grow 240 heads off both problems at the tap.
Key Benefits
- Two-stage filtration -- a 5-micron sediment pre-filter followed by a carbon block stage
- Removes up to 99% of chlorine and eliminates roughly 90% of sediment particles above 5 microns
- Protects beneficial soil bacteria and mycorrhizae, useful for organic growing
- Stabilises nutrient feed pH for more consistent uptake
- Guards reflectors, carbon filters and lamps from mineral scale build-up
- Ready to use out of the box, connecting straight to pipework or a tap
How to Use
Mount the supplied bracket to a wall or stand near your tap or mains feed, connect the inlet and outlet tubing, and run water through both stages before first use to settle the filter media. Replace the sediment and carbon cartridges roughly every 6-12 months, or sooner in hard-water areas, to keep flow rate and filtration performance consistent.
