Description

Start Every Feed From a Blank Sheet of Water

The GrowMax Mega Grow reverse osmosis system produces up to 1000 litres per day at up to 40 litres per hour, so there is no waiting for a tank to fill. It removes or reduces up to 95% of mineral salts, heavy metals, chloramines, nitrates, nitrites, sediments, sand, oxides, herbicides, pesticides and volatile organic pollutants including benzene, oils, trihalomethanes, detergents and PCBs, plus up to 99% of chlorine and sediment down to 5 microns.

Key Benefits

  • Up to 1000 L/day at 40 L/h – throughput for a serious room, not a couple of pots
  • Removes up to 95% of salts and heavy metals, lowering EC and leaving headroom for feed
  • Eliminates up to 99% of chlorine, which protects beneficial microbes in the medium
  • Helps stabilise pH, so the reservoir holds its number between feeds
  • Improves fertiliser performance and helps avoid nutrient lockout
  • Better performing equipment – clean water means less scale in pumps, drippers and lines

Is Your Tap Water Capping Your Yields?

Hard UK tap water can arrive at a high enough EC that a full feed pushes the solution past what the plant can take – showing up as nutrient lockout, poor nutrient uptake and slow growth despite a textbook chart. RO water gives you a near-zero baseline: more stable pH, maximum nutrient uptake, uninhibited photosynthesis and stronger roots.

How to Use

  • Check your pressure first: a minimum of 2.75 bar (40 psi) is required for the system to work properly; fit a booster pump if your supply is below that
  • Do not exceed 5.5 bar (80 psi) incoming – fit a pressure regulator if your mains runs higher
  • Cold water only – hot water damages the filters and membrane; protect the unit against frost
  • Change the carbon filter every 6 months
  • Change the RO membrane every 6 months to 2 years depending on usage and input EC level
