Rigid pressure tubing for building, extending or repairing reverse osmosis and water filtration systems. Three internal diameters are available - 1/4 inch in black and 3/8 inch in blue on 10 metre rolls, and 1/2 inch in white on a 5 metre roll - so you can match whatever fittings your unit uses. Manufactured from PTFE, it stays light in the hand but firm enough to hold its shape in a push-fit connector, which is what keeps a joint sealed under mains pressure.

What Happens When Tubing Gives Up
Filtration tubing is under constant mains pressure and spends its life bent around a corner or a stand. Over time it goes soft at the fittings, and a soft pipe end no longer grips the collet properly. The result is a weep that turns into a burst while you are out, usually onto a floor full of electrics. Replacing runs as soon as they lose their rigidity takes ten minutes and saves you the aftermath.
How to Use
- Turn the water supply off and depressurise the system before starting.
- Cut the tubing square with a sharp cutter - an angled cut will leak.
- Push the pipe fully home into the fitting until it seats.
- Tug the pipe gently to confirm the collet has gripped.
- Repressurise slowly and check every joint before leaving it unattended.
