Description

Clean, Filtered Water at 800 Litres an Hour, No Power or Waste

The GrowMax Super Grow sits between the Garden Grow and Pro Grow in the range, filtering tap water at 800 litres per hour with a 2-stage sediment and carbon system that needs no electricity and produces no wastewater. A 5-micron sediment pre-filter strips out particulate before the water reaches the green coconut carbon block, which pulls out chlorine, herbicides, pesticides and volatile organic contaminants before they ever reach the reservoir. It connects straight onto standard garden hose fittings, so installation is a five-minute job with no tools beyond the hose itself.

Key Benefits

  • 800 litres per hour of filtered water — enough flow to fill a large reservoir without standing over it
  • Removes up to 99% of chlorine, plus herbicides, pesticides and volatile organic contaminants
  • Coconut carbon block media with a 5-micron sediment pre-filter ahead of it for longer filter life
  • No power, no drain, no wastewater — every litre that goes in comes out usable
  • Protects beneficial micro-organisms in soil and coco that chlorinated tap water knocks back
  • Simple garden hose connections for a straightforward install

Chlorine and Contaminant Build-Up in the Root Zone

Tap water contaminants sit at low enough concentrations to go unnoticed feed after feed, but they accumulate in the substrate over weeks and drag on nutrient uptake and pH stability in ways that get blamed on the feed itself. Filtering at the tap with the Super Grow gives the root zone biology a clean start and keeps the reservoir's pH more predictable from one mix to the next.

How to Use

  • Connect the inlet to your cold water supply using the supplied garden hose fittings
  • Run the outlet straight into your reservoir, watering can or irrigation line
  • Flush through when new before using the water for mixing
  • Mix nutrients after filtering, then pH as normal
  • Replace the filters every 6 to 12 months, or after roughly 27,000 litres, using the Super Grow replacement filter set
