Description
Chemical-free water sterilisation for a high-flow RO setup
The GrowMax UV Lamp Kit (22 LPM) fits inline on a GrowMax reverse osmosis system to sterilise water as it passes through, killing 99.99% of viruses and bacteria without adding any chemicals to the water. Rated for a 22 litre-per-minute flow, it's built for the higher-output GrowMax units where the standard 4LPM lamp kit isn't enough for the flow rate.
Key Benefits
- Kills 99.99% of viruses and bacteria with UV light, no chemical dosing.
- 22 litre-per-minute rated flow, sized for higher-output GrowMax RO systems.
- Fits inline on the water line for continuous protection during production and top-up.
- Stainless steel lamp housing with a straightforward mains-powered ballast.
An RO membrane strips out dissolved solids but doesn't guarantee sterility on its own, and any bacterial load in the feed water can still make it through to the reservoir. Running the water past a UV lamp before it reaches the tank adds a layer of protection that a filter alone can't provide, without introducing any chemical residue into the feed.
How to Use
- Fit inline on the water line downstream of your GrowMax RO unit, following the kit's instructions.
- Power on the ballast unit whenever water is flowing through the system.
- Replace the UV lamp on the manufacturer's recommended schedule to maintain full sterilising effect.
