The Growth Technology Clip on Fan is a compact 6" (150mm) circulation fan that clamps straight onto a tent pole, shelf or frame, so you can add airflow to a corner, a propagation tray or a cramped veg area without giving up floor space to a stand. It runs on two speed settings, has an adjustable head and a roughly 1.8 metre cable, and Growth Technology have kept the build simple and durable rather than loading it with features most growers never touch.

Still air trapped under the canopy is where botrytis, powdery mildew and thin, unsupported stems tend to start, because moisture pools on leaf surfaces and foliage never gets the movement it needs to build strength. Once a tent fills out, a single oscillating fan rarely reaches every pocket, which is exactly where a small clip-on unit earns its place, tucked in wherever the air has gone dead.

How to Use

• Clip the fan to a pole or frame at canopy height and angle the head so airflow brushes the leaves and gently sways the stems rather than blasting them flat
• Run the lower speed for seedlings and cuttings, stepping up to the higher setting as plants establish
• Reposition as the canopy grows to keep air reaching the lower leaves and the stem base
• Keep the guard clear of leaves and route the cable away from the airflow path
