A small reservoir does not need a pump built for a whole room. These kits pair a Hailea ACO air pump with 50mm golf ball airstones and 2 metres of 4mm airline per stone, with the outlet count matched to the number of stones so air is shared evenly instead of favouring whichever stone sits nearest the pump.

Which one do I need?
Count the vessels you want aerated, not the litres. One stone per pot or reservoir is the rule, so a single bucket takes the 1 Airstone kit and a four-bucket run takes the 4 Airstone. Larger runs, from four pots upward, are better served by the 9810 and 9820 pot kits, which carry more airline and more outlets.
How to Use
- Stand the pump above the water line so solution cannot siphon back into it.
- Cut the airline as short as is practical — long runs cost pressure.
- Sit each stone flat on the base of the pot or reservoir, below the solution line.
- Leave aeration running 24 hours a day, never on a timer.
- Soak the stones periodically to clear them, and replace them when the bubbles coarsen.
